My new work "FLORADEVA" takes inspiration from the tiny denizens of the forest floor; a fanciful look at miniature tiger-spotted dragons, sentient corals that open like flowers and floating creatures in warm shallow rivers. Soldier ants forage through humid, dreamy landscapes, while determined plants push to cover the remains of a great abstract beast. This dreamy world exists in the mind's eye perhaps, or a few steps sideways from our own earthly plane... a place of strange beauty and uneasy refuge.
