The Challenge
Create a slow lifestyle-inspired magazine, with a focus on fashion, lifestyle and arts and culture. The publication was to be solely black and white, printed on off-white matte paper; not only to highlight the depth and texture of the photography, but also to keep printing costs down.
Journal Blasé places a firm focus on evocative imagery, intelligent consumption and purchasing quality items that are made to last, in a society that revolves around a mass produced fast-fashion world.
