Dura is a bluetooth speaker created with the idea of longevity engraved into its conception. It excludes itself from mass production methods in order to withhold its rigid design ethos. Its reinforced build quality makes it suitable for almost any outdoor situation. Using high quality stock parts and materials, Dura is for life. 

Dura is enclosed in a die cut, cold pressed aluminium shell which is then powder coated in a satin finish olive green paint. The rigid frame is made from 5mm thick, laser cut, anodised stainless steel. The frame provides rigidity as well as a place to hook up the carabiner. The strap is made from 4mm paracord woven in a snake weave for added strength and comfort. The USB-c and Aux input ports are sealed under a rotating rubber pad for easy access and protection against the elements. Dura has an SP57 weather rating which ensures the lifespan of all the internal components.

Dura houses two 8 Watt drivers housed in a sealed enclosure for optimal sound quality. The drivers put out 90 Decibels of SPL at peak volume. These are controlled via a bluetooth v4.0 module within the enclosure. This includes an NFC (near-field-communication) chip, allowing for faster connection times from any device. Dura also allows the user to make and receive calls with the aid of a built-in omni-directional microphone. With a 1000mAh battery, it has a play time of up to 5 hours and a charge time of 3.5 hours.
