When I was a kid, my family would stop at a Hostess or Wonderbread outlet stores once in a great while. It wasn't a regular thing, something we did a handful of times at most. But stumbling across this closed outlet in Henrietta still stirred some weird, misplaced nostalgia. I passed by the site recently and saw it was being converted into something new; a welcome sign of changing demographics. But the stripped facade also bared small traces of the building's not-so-distant past.
