I wanted to design a good looking flag with a lot of symbolism that alludes to my family's personality. I chose to go modern which reflects my personal style and did not include a stroke on any facet of the design. Each aspect of the crest represents something different about my family. Take for example, the color scheme. It is red, white, and blue, because we are all American and tied to U of A because my grandparents live in Tucson and most of our family went there for college. The red star at the bottom has 5 points, 1 for each member of my immediate family and there are also 7 white stripes behind it for each of my cousins. The green laurels show the dignity of my family, not to mention that they look cool. The central aspect of the star is a circle of dollar signs that represent the hard work and entrepreneurship involved in my family because we own two businesses that were built from the ground up. That is what my crest represents, enjoy!
