I was invited by Das Werk to redesign the look of the iconic rings for german electronics chain SATURN. Lead agency Jung von Matt NEXT had developed a new concept for all TV commercials and promotional materials, wanting to update the brand. Together we designed an array of possible looks, some more organic, some more technical looking.

The artists at Das Werk further developed and adapted the initial designs to all kinds of marketing materials for the 200 SATURN stores around Europe and all TV commercials. It's great to see that the final versions still use the initially developed shaders, compositing and animation layouts.

During the initial design phase, we got to explore look and animation simultaniously by providing various animated concept spots.

DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
