Gira Toy
Giratoy is a toy for people with autism spectrum disorder, hyperactivity, or for any child who needs to develop his or her cognitive skills. This versatile toy reinforces the senses of touch and helps concentration. It is an inclusive, simple and versatile toy.
The concept arose from the need to stimulate the cognitive and tactile abilities of people with ASD. This is why the choice of material and textures of the rollers is so important. Giratoy also works as a tool for people with hyperactivity. If it rests on the floor, it can be used with the feet, leaving the hands free for the child, child or adult to continue working.
This project was part of the exhibition RDS7 (@rds7.0) in Centro de Artesanía de València (http://www.centroartesaniacv.com/) on the score of the Valencia Design Week, during September 2018.
