Dial M for ...
One of my favorite films by Alfred Hitchcock is Dial M for Murder (1954), a dramatic masterpiece, at least in my opinion. The 50's Bakelite phone is such a memorable object from that film and I really wanted to create my own interpretation of it in CG.

This was modeled, and rendered with Cinema 4D. Textures were partially made using Photoshop and it's likely one of the few projects I'll be making proper UV textures for in Photoshop. I shortly after this invested in a Substance subscription and loving the tools so far. Although it's great to see that it's still perfectly possible to make the textures the old way.
