"Inizi Carnival Masks", 2018 (Logo-Design project)

Self random-created challenge for a logo.
- a "maker of carnival masks" called "Inizi":

"Inizi Carnival Masks
the Concept took me to the latin god Janus Bifrons
credits: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Janus1.JPG
The god Janus is the God of the Beginnings
- one face to the Past, one face to the Future

He is the God of a New Year
(actually "January" refers to a word meaning "the door")

Now "Inizi" in Italian sounds as "Beginnings"
And the deep meaning of Carnival is in the Renewation

The Column also wants to mimic the letter " I " of the surname "Inizi" (LOGO)

So the whole Concept can be seen like:
"Old (handicraft) traditions facing the future"
Vectorial translation
This version is still pictographic
It gives some an impression of "chess piece".
It could fit business paper

I also worked on a multipurpose abstract logo
studies for Logo Abstraction

I created a straight lines version and a curve lines version
I also opted for a silhouette-fill My favourite one is the curve lines version:

Version 1: Straight Lines
Version 2: Curve Lines

It recalls some ancient mediterranean Idols

Concept: Traditions always stand behind our work.
