 I made an infographic of ‘Phantom of the opera’, one of the most famous, be loved musical. While working, I consider two things. First, I’d like to show the greatness of ‘the Phantom of the opera.’ So I tried to explain remarkable records, numerous awards, and an overwhelming scale of it. In detail, I grouped the surprising numbers and stories, drew famous actors who played Phantom, and introduced the great composer Webber and the fist Christine, Brightman. Also I made map charts to show the countries where the performance played, and drew a short time line of ‘Phantom of the opera’ with one of its key item, rose.

 Second, I wanted to tempt readers with a mysterious atmosphere. For this, I painted the background in indigo gradation. And most of the images and texts were colored in white. Also, in the background, images of the phantom and Christine was used to create a mood. Then, I emphasized the splendor and delicacy of the icons, such as chandelier, candelabrum, broken mirror, by drawing them with the thinnest line.

 Because it was not a subject that goes well with the graphs, it’s hard to find data which are fitted into the infographic. So I place emphasis on stories and visual, such as delicate icons. Also, numerous attempts were made to ensure that the white lines weren’t covered by the dark background when I printed.
