The Romans Road is a well-known set of Bible verses often used to share the Gospel. Some versions use different verses, but the message is essentially the same:

Man is sinful, and our sin leads to death. But God gives us eternal life in Christ our Lord. He showed us his love by dying for us. If we believe and profess that Jesus is Lord, we are
saved by grace through faith. We are made right with God because of Jesus. We are freed from judgement, and nothing can separate us from the Lord.

This project is a set of hand lettered pieces featuring the Pinoy Version of the Romans Road. The pieces were rendered with pens and scanned for uploading.

The Pinoy Version is a recently published translation of the New Testament by the Philippine Bible Society. There are some who feel that it is an irreverent translation because it's in a mix of Tagalog and English. I wrote out these verses to show that although it's not what we are used to, it's still the same message... just in words a contemporary Filipino (like me!) would say it with.

Remember: the best Bible for you is the Bible you'll use.
