My first Olympics at Nike was helping make components for USA high jumper and Olympian Erik Kynard. My laser cutting expertise was used to cut the rubber outsole components and to cut a contrasting rubber Jordan Jumpman logo in the center of the sole. It was exciting watching Erik at the 2016 Rio games at work alongside everyone who worked on building his shoes.

For the Olympic games we made Erik a custom pair of Jordans. I was tasked with printing and dye subbing the textiles for the upper of his shoes.
