Data Visualization

I love the idea of having more bikes and less cars on the road. This graph shows data from U.S. cities and compares them to a couple European cities. This 24 x 36 inch poster compares total population, the working population, the percent of workers who commute by bike, the percent of workers who commute by car/truck/van, total traffic fatalities, and total bike fatalities. The key in the bottom left hand corner. Data visualizations allows for a lot of data to be displayed in one graph. An aspect I made sure to include were the dots. I believe it is more meaningful to represent each death individually. It is in a way more striking.
