For this assignment I was required to create a channel Ident, Bug, Lower Third and Now, Next, Later screen. I decided to try and create 3D animation and add effects on top. I started by sketching out ideas and creating a storyboard to figure out the timing for the 15 second ident. I also created a test animation using basic shapes in cinema 4D.

Now that I knew what timings i needed to hit I started creating the 3D animation in cinema 4D. I started by creating the shock wave effect, and then moving on to the machine animations.

I changed around the lighting and added a purple colour as seen throughout the SyFy channel brand.
