Back to the Oldies // 2019
As one of my achieving goals for 2019, I wanted to create illustrations which showed characters that were created by myself years ago with backgrounds, something I never worked much on. A key point for me were also the colors and the lighting.
Each illustration represents a scene from a story that I have developed for about six years and which as been a main focus an inspiration for themes of my drawings. Themes like a Giant Mermaid Koi who's a fortune teller, a girl serene in her own mysterious chaos or simply a huntress with her dragon.
All illustrations lineart were done with black ink pens and then colored on Adobe Photoshop CC. For this project some sketches of characters were done in order to find a simpler style which I would like to represent once again these characters.
After that some tests were made with the lineart made with ink pens and then I colored the characters digitally. Satisfied with the result, I decided to start making the final illustrations.
