Preset: Temple Stone

This is a Lightroom preset I'm working on called 'Temple Stone', inspired by the rugged textures and copper oranges of Kyoto during winter.
I wanted to show the battered stone and scuffed red shrines, because seeing this really puts an awe to their use and how much the steadfast design in strong materials have persisted.
To add to the sense of time, whilst taking these images, I made a note of engrossing the frame in nature.

I found that colour-wise, the deep-red and magenta bark could balance the rocks, even with no shrine or temple in frame.
After adjusting it for the temples and shrines, I tried applying it elsewhere. Same nature but different subject. Some tweaking required, and a second variant was born to conjointly colour most of my trip.

Enjoy the rest of my photos.
