A typography project I worked on that uses the basic shapes of things I have to create this lively string of alphabets.

 

The initial idea was to photograph things with basic shapes such as the triangle, circle, rectangle and square to make the different letters but I was already aware there were things in my house that I liked, such as the patterns or texture on buttons on the cushion, or mats my mother owned or pens or earings. Therefore I thought this was a great excuse to photoograph the things I liked and used them for more than just what they were created for.
