Mixed Reality Campus Tour

Mixed Reality + UX/UI + Environment Design | Individual | Fall/Winter 2018

After getting the privilege to play around with the Microsoft Hololens, I designed a campus tour for Carnegie Mellon University that uses mixed reality technology to guide users on a self-led exploration of the campus. The key idea of the tour is this idea of audio "nodes" that accent the buildings and campus grounds, which serve as a way for users to better interact with the physical campus and not get caught up in an exclusively digital interface. I then prototype an app that could be used after the tour in order to compile saved "nodes" and connect users to the students behind each voice.
