GILDINA - Lamp (2016)
The lamp is made up of two main parts: the light ftting, with the led inside, and the light diffuser.
Based on the effect you wish, these can be arranged in two different compositions. In order to have a more direct lighting, the led can be placed over the cone-shaped body, so that this is pointed downwards and reflects only in the underlying sandblasted body. On the other hand, in order to get a more suffused lighting, the illuminating disk can be placed as the base of the lamp and managed to have the light go through the same sandblasted sides.
The light ftting is made of metal of the aluminium kind and includes a led circle of 60 mm, the cone-shaped body is made of sandblasted plastic and is covered with opacifying sheets.
The lamp is 180 mm high and has a maximum circumference of the base of 90 mm, allowing to place the object in limited-size areas such as a night table, a desk or a restaurant table; however, because of the specifc effect, it can be used in bigger rooms as well with the purpose of creating a cosy and intimate atmosphere.
