Statement 1
I created this picture because I wanted to bring a sense of childhood cartoons, and also mysteries. I wanted to use the figure of a woman to represent feminism, and also heroism because we often don't see women figures in films, or as a hero. They are normally side casts, or the damsel in distress. Therefore I really wanted to capture the true image of what women really are.
Anjenet used a question mark for the suit so sh can generate suspension, but also in cooperate a character that she was familiar with. I believed that it also meant that this superhero is filled with a lot of surprises, and therefore very difficult to distinguish. Furthermore, I really wanted suspension, and mystery to be part of this image.
