As a part of the projects at 'MRID Baroda', the craft documentation was an initiative to know the craft of Nagaland and learning how to promote this depleting craft.


CRAFT DOCUMENTATION

The aim of this documentation is to bring light and focus on one of the most depleting crafts of India, Cane Craft of Nagaland.
It majorly deals with the social and economic factors associated with this craft and also why is it crucial to promote and support the art and the artisans practicing it.

It dives into where the craft is practiced, how the firms give artisans opportunities to make commercial art, how militant activities affect the craft, and much more.

        
        
          
             


BROCHURE

It is a four fold brochure that introduces craft enthusiasts and tourists to the types of craft one can expect from Nagaland's Kohima district. The brochure also directs to the places where one can find the mentioned crafts.

The website is intended to act as a platform to promote cane craft and its artisans, but it is also intended to provide information about Nagaland and its tribe as a whole.
