There was only two restrictions for this design work and that was to include a star to represent emily and use a purple/pink colour as its her favorite colour. I looked at the competition and sa how everyone just had to plain simple title with a star above it etc... researching the cancer bands i found out that many of the cancer charitys have a colour band for each cancer.. This made me think about using a piece of ribbon to create the star. Placing the name emily in bold seemed only right to bring attension to who we were there for.
