PAUSES

These lamps are made of blowing Murano glass inside an iron cage. The concept is intended to arouse emotions and overcome the static.“Pauses” represents the unpredictable behaviour and the contrast between the iron rigidity and the fluidity of melted glass. “Pauses” is a pair of lamps designed for Siru Lighting during my internship at Gumdesign. “Pauses” collection was exposed to Light+building expo Messe Frankfurt, Venice glass week, Prima lighting Romania, Habitat Valencia. The lamps comes in two different glasses, transparent and white, and two different sizes, 18x36 cm and 18x54 cm.
