Winter Chickadee
I find Black-capped Chickadees one of the more challenging birds to photograph. They are small, quick, and don't stay still for very long. So during a recent snowstorm, I was pleasantly surprised to witness a chickadee on a branch breaking open a seed and scooping up some snowflakes and leaf buds. It hung around for nearly a minute.
