To overcome the challenges of photographing printed products, the Burt's Bees CGI Lip Balm Lineup was created. Although our photographers had years of experience in capturing and retouching Burt's Bees products, the halftone dots on the printed label proved to be a significant obstacle. These dots made it challenging to retouch the product's typography and etching illustrations, affecting the overall quality of the images. To offer our client a better solution, I created 3D models of the lip balms and imported Adobe Illustrator mechanicals to achieve a more polished outcome.
