A CLASSIC FOR A CAUSE CAMPAIGN

This Barnes and Noble Classics campaign calls attention to the Detroit Public School literacy crisis. With each purchase of a B&N Classic Book, twenty percent of the profits are donated to Beyond Basics*. A promotional set of four books—Alice in Wonderland, Oliver Twist, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Secret Garden—was designed for the launch of the campaign. Beyond the book designs, the campaign includes a promotional badge, note card, special edition bags, and point-of-sale signage.

*Beyond Basics is a literacy non-profit that has served students in Detroit public schools since 2002. They partner with schools to bring students to literacy by providing reading, tutoring, and supplemental programs.
