Promoting the Postmodernism exhibition at the V&A

Postmodernism at the V&A

This was a brief set to us to promote the postmodernism gallery at the V&A. In order to communicate effectively to our audience we visited the museum and gathered information and visuals on renowned artists and designers. We chose to use images of the celebrity Grace Jones as she was featured heavily within the gallery and was someone that our audience would recogise and be curious about.

When building our campaign we chose to use different forms of media such as guerilla advertising and stunts. These were produced in the form of T-Shirts and wash labels which included information of the gallery on them.

We went out onto the street and proceeded to sell the T-shirts to the public, leaving the labels on empty hangers throughout the highstreet.
