i designed and illustrated the official poster for edition #44 of sofar sounds made in guayaquil, ecuador. the theme of this month revolved around female empowerment, so the invited artists were all women.
el cartel ilustra mujeres importantes a lo largo de la historia. quería representar la importancia del empoderamiento femenino a través de una serie de conexiones entre todas las mujeres ilustradas, muchos de los elementos están conectados entre sí, simbolizando cómo estos logros son peldaños para las siguientes generaciones.

the poster illustrates important women throughout history. i wanted to represent the importance of female empowerment through a series of connections between all women, many of the elements are connected to each other, symbolizing how these achievements are stepping stones for the next generations.
