Get A Watch | Typographical Poster
This project that began in late April was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help communicate the phrase/insult “Time to get a watch” (usually said when someone asks another person for the time) by the way of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.
As you will see, the final outcome consists of a clock that has had the hour and minutes hands removed, four of the twelve hour pointers (with the twelfth being coloured in red), a second hand, circular borders to help visualise the body of the clock, alongside the phrase “Get a Watch” that acts as a “verbal nod” to the signifier (the illustration content) being presented towards the viewer.
So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
