Bipolar.
I started looking for habits to rely on. As if, I cared what were those. Amidst all my delusional hallucinations, intoxication made me feel better.
My days would alter between "I'd conquer this world" to "a corner in isolation feels good".
Opposite attracts, sure it does. But does contradiction play a role, too? It wasn't only a mental health issue, it was slowly growing into parasite. By the time I realised that I was diseased and I needed to be treated; I learnt, my life had become a paradox. A very disruptive label was latched to my back and it was called "bipolar".
A big thanks to Nafisa Tasnim for volunteering to be the model as well as help with the writeup, Shaheen Khurshid for helping with the paints.
