Emilia's Cards and Gifts

A fun process of in-class assignments which challenged students to make up a brand; it had to include a name and state what the brand is selling. I chose the name Emilia and I imagined her owning a mom-and-pop establishment selling cards and gifts. I wanted its branding identity to reflect a whimsical and light-hearted impression by using airy fonts alongside with pastel colors. Final products consisted of a business card, brand identity, and web banner ad. Each component was created during class with a time limit of around thirty minutes.

The project began with text logo/font study which led to a rough comp of the text logo to a finalized logo.
