HONDA TOMO's Story.

TOMO was our final thesis project for the master class in IED Turin (Istituto Europeo di Design) in collaboration with Honda for the 89th Geneva Motor Show in 2019.
Honda presented us the brief: "Fun driving for 2025" working on his existing platform for their upcoming electric car Honda e.
With the brief on mind, as a team we conducted an extensive research for 2025, we came with the conclusion that the concept of "FUN" is changing drastically and cars for young drivers need to adapt to new times, so we came with the idea of creating a fictional character for 2025 which would be our user for 2025.
After that, each of us came with personal designs and ideas that could adapt for this new brief and user, here I present my personal work, which was the design and solution selected by Honda to develop and create a concept to present in the Geneva Motor Show.
From this moment the goal was taking my design to a more realistic and possible for production vehicle, this are the results and the final car.
Here, the official shooting with the real model before the big presentation.
And finally, the big reveal at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019, such an incredible and inspiring experience.
I want to thank all my team for the amazing work done, to all our teachers and staff from IED and my parents as well for always believing in me.
Hope you all like TOMO!

Thank you for watching.
