VESTAMATIC ROLLO MOTOR
A battery-operated motor system for interior blinds.
Depending on the size and condition of a roller blind, different profiles with different diameters are used. Unlike venetian blinds, here the motor is firmly connected to the wall via a bearing and the profile rotates completely around the motor, winding or unwinding the blind.
In order to ensure the best possible fit and power transmission for all systems, a number of adapters can be exchanged. This includes the wall adapter at the head of the motor, suitable for various wall bearings, the sliding ring at the 'neck' under the motor head and the actual motor adapter at the end of the motor, which transfers the motor rotation to the roller blind profile. The motor adapter is decoupled from the motor by a buffer so that the motor noises are not transmitted to the complete system and thus amplified.
For a radio motor version, the standard aluminium housing had to be replaced by a carbon tube in order not to interfere with the radio connection and still achieve the best possible stability with a minimum wall thickness.
In order to completely dispense with wiring, it must be powered by batteries and controlled via radio.
The length of the motor caused by the batteries is a problem during assembly. The motor head here had to be designed with special guides for the printed circuit board and the wiring. The batteries can also be charged via a USB port on the motor head. The necessary light signals can be seen through the transparent head plate.
This head flap also integrates a button for programming the motor, which is required by radio operation.
