I created these logos in order to practice blending two ideas into a cohesive new product. The challenge was to combine a noun with a service business and then create a logo for that business. The nouns I chose were cloud, snowflake, and sailfish. The businesses were cartography, seamstress, and painting. The resulting logos are delightful representations of the noun/business combination.
Cloud Cartography
This logo combines a stylized cloud with a compass. It represents a company that is exact and offers dreamy customer service. The mockups show how the logo could be used on a business card or as a sign on a building.
Snowflake Seamstresses
This logo represents a small sewing business that specializes in tailoring and hand sewing. They have a wonderful collection of antique buttons and use them dress up old outfits so that they sparkle again. The mockups showcase the logo on a sign and as a piece of embroidery.
Sailfish Painting
The sailfish represents a high-end painting company. The company is fast and efficient like a sailfish. The mockups show the logo on signs and a paint bucket.
