There have been many characters that appeared overpowered in comic books, shows, and movies. However there has been few, if any, characters physically suffering because they are wielding great power. It was just a simple thought that help create this illustration. ⠀ ⠀ 

The idea for this illustration was to invent a character that found an ancient weapon with the ability to control lightning. But once she has made contact with the javelin, she is burden with a curse that will devour her body and soul. If she continues to use the javelin's power, the curse will strengthen its grip. ⠀ 

Who is this character? What will happen to her? Can anyone save her from the curse? Is there a fate worse than death?
