The Planting - App design for an urban farming mobile app.
Screen two is a planting guide with easy to navigate options for filtering the plant type (vegetables, herbs or flowers) and time of year. Screen three is an interactive calendar which allows the user to note their observations such as weather patterns, produce yields, successes/failures, so they can document their individual urban farming journey and can improve their yield year by year. The final screen is a recipe function that includes simple recipes for preserving, fermenting and cooking the produce yielded.
The app should be suitable for a broad target market, from young to old, with its easy navigation, intuitive design and muted colour palette.
