"Table Steam Cleaner" is the conceptual product that suggested by Jeon Minwoo. He disassemble a steam iron for Product Hacking project : Finding redesigning point by understanding the inside of tech-product.
Two features of the steam iron was used to design it. The first is the signature pointed shape of iron's bottom surface which is designed to iron every corners of clothes carefully. And the second is the function of steam generating system. By applicating two points of the steam iron, he changed product usage environment : From clothes to cafeteria table.

다리미의 형태적 특징인 뾰족한 밑판과, 기능적 특징인 발열 시스템을 해킹하여 디자인한 새로운 사용성의 제품을 제안합니다.
The iron now has the form of a base plate to avoid obstacles such as buttons, lapels, and pockets.
When we go to old restaurant, we can easily find sticky and stained table that looks vulnerable to virus and bacteria proliferation. Iron's steam generating system is used to high temperature pasteurization of them, and triangle base plate can cover blind spot from induction heater, spoon holder and napkin container, on table up almost perfectly.
다리미는 단추, 옷 깃, 주머니 등 옷 위의 장애물을 피해 구석구석 다리기 위해 지금의 밑판 형태를 가지게 되었습니다.
끈적하고 얼룩진 식당 테이블을 고온으로 스팀 살균하는 이 테이블 스팀 클리너는 화구, 수저통, 냅킨통 등 테이블 위 장애물을 구석구석 피해다닐 수 있도록 다리미의 뾰족한 시그니처 밑판을 차용했습니다.

Because the iron's geometric curves does not match the restaurant,
he wanted to be seen as a brand-new product, not an iron.
So products like water purifier, electric port and air cleaner are selected as a reference of the shape and CMF plan.
기존의 다리미가 가진 유려한 곡선미가 식당이라는 환경과는 이질적일 것 같다는 요식업 종사자들의 피드백을 반영하여
정수기나 전기포트, 공기청정기같은 제품에서 형태와 CMF 요소를 따와서 디자인했습니다.
전체적인 사각형 실루엣에 하단의 뾰족한 삼각형 형태의 조형적인 조화로움을 해결하기 위해 여러 방향의 스케치와 프로토타이핑을 진행했습니다.

You can fill 80ml of water by opening the top lid.
약 80ml 용량의 물을 채울 수 있습니다.
Press button to warm up, Check the preheating has been completed by LED signal.
버튼을 눌러 예열을 시작하며, LED 표시등을 통해 예열 완료 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다.
The bottom pad can be replaced simply by removing the velcro.
오염된 스팀패드는 교체할 수 있어 위생적으로 사용할 수 있습니다.
You can use it wirelessly in messy restaurant place. And it also can be charged with usb C-type cable.
무선으로 사용이 가능하여 장애물이 많은 식당에서도 행동 반경이 자유롭습니다.
