The LaRosa’s Royal 8 Hardwood Classic is a signature, eight-team tournament that presents the best match-ups in Cincinnati high school basketball. We created an identity for the inaugural event inspired by the city’s basketball history while capitalizing on vintage design popularized by throwback culture. Our visuals brought to life a highly merchandisable brand with an experience for coaches and players that is enjoyable, engaging and memorable. The new identity is seen across all Royal 8 Hardwood Classic media, including event signage, website, apparel, merchandise and promotions.
