A personal project exploring forms created from a pyro simulation and custom velocities in Houdini.
The images below show the initial custom velocities used to twist and push the smoke outwards, the pyro sim, advected points and final strands. Each primitive is coloured with a gradient and combined with the velocity data from the pyro sim for some colour variation over time.
