Independence Day, also called Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States on July 4, 1776. As the tradition, there are lots of celebrating activites like fireworks, parades, carnivals, fairs, concerts, etc. 

Luckily, this year on July 4th, I was in Claremont, CA. The atmosphere was so energetic and delightful. Booths in the fairs showed the diversity of the U.S., which included environment education, political promotion, LGBT education, fair trade promotion, etc. Under the California's sunshine, the contract between viridescent grass and red flag became the most beautiful combination.
