In 2012, Mercatus was invited to participate in Lowes Innovation Expo at Lowe's headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. We created a demo specific for this show that showcased our technology.
The iPhone demo would read the QR codes off the shelf as well as the flyer and give you detailed product information, and allowed you to self checkout.
The Android demo used bump technology to share information. The demo we created allowed a customer and a Lowes associate to share information if the customer was looking for a specific product that was not on the shelf.
