A few years ago I've had this idea for a children's story about a faceless girl that sets off in search for a face of her own. Unfortunately I never got to finish it, but maybe I'll get back to it in the future.
"Since the day I was born, I never had a face. I never knew the colour of my eyes or the shape of my mouth. Even so, I can see, I can smell, but I don't need to eat or drink. I am not sure if I am even human."
"Today I have decided that I simply cannot live all my life this way, so I'm going out in the forest, in hope that I can find myself a suitable face."
"The woods are lonely, dark and scary, but I am willing to do anything if that means I can go among humans without attracting their frightened looks"
"Anything..."
