Hi, dear visitor!

Here i want to show you my bachelor diploma project. I graduated the Kyiv State Institute of Decorative-applied Art and Design in 2018. My project is called "Finding yourself".

The basic concept of the work is the image of a person who is in harmony with himself and opposes the chaotic and cold environment that symbolizes our world. At first, the idea was to portray a person as a house with a window in his heart. In doing so, I wanted to show that truth is the way to ourself.
I was inspired by the thoughts of the Eastern sages, that man is a home for himself, that he can find any answer in himself, but not outside.
But after a while and a lot of thinking about this topic, I realized that a person cannot be separated from this chaotic world, because a person is a social creature and is not able to develop independently without any external influence on him. First of all, we are influenced by people from our immediate environment and those who inspire us. Because of this, I decided to add another figure to the composition to create an internal dialogue.
One of the strongest drivers of influence and our development is our love for our fellow men and ourselves. This feeling moves everything forward and gives meaning to everything that surrounds us. We must always strive for this source.
