Bearers of Love web UI
Bearers of Love is a humanitarian organization that provides support to families and church communities in Ukraine. Their original website was created using a free WordPress template. The first screenshot shows what the original site looked like and the second shows my initial proposal for the updated UI. The initial proposal was turned down as they preferred to keep their logo prominent at the top and wanted to use photos taken of the people in the communities where they served rather than use stock photography.
I was able to track down the designer of the original logo and placed the it prominently in the hero image space at the top of the page with a photograph of genuine Ukrainians colorized in the background. The color scheme is composed prominently with Ukraine’s national colors as portrayed on their flag, yellow representing the farmed fields and blue representing the sky.
