For this project, the students were paired in groups of two. I had the opportunity to work with Melissa Vlachos on this furniture project.
We were partially inspired by the The Dream of Space Produces Form (site-specific installation at the Biennale of Architecture in Venice) by Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos (2018).
Slowly, but surely, it became clear that our design would be dominated by a playful exchange between planes and expressive connections between these planes.
We created a new whole by holding together MDF planes with inox screw threads and hexagon nuts. Echo came into being.
