Tactile paving - something totally new to me as i live in the tiny town of Mangalore, India and to be honest when i looked at them for the first time i wondered what it was. yes i have seen these even in India , esp around the metros but thats it. Here in Sapporo, i could find these almost everywhere! all the streets, corners, metros and even in some shopping areas. i came to know that these are called tactile pavings and meant for the blind and visually impaired people to halp them navigate. really cool
