This project is my repose to the current fast paced and technological age we live. 

Using the track - Telemiscommunications by Artist deadmau5, I played on the word ‘miscommunication’ using a Glitch Art image making process to create design outcomes, knowing the results would cause malfunctions, mishap, and technical problems – a reference to the title of the track. 

Sometimes accidents like a slip of the hand while painting, or a wrong note while recording create the most beautiful results. With many forms of art and design moving onto our computers, digital accidents are bound to happen too, but usually they’re reversible.

Glitch Art makes use of bugs in technology, exploiting what otherwise might look like flaws and turning them into powerful works of art.

I experimented by using my own code selection, methods and process. This put me out of my comfort zone as I prefer to have full control a project that I embraced through experimentation and development. 

The outcomes resulted in vinyl artwork, I preferred working with vinyl’s due to their larger working surface.
