We do not see the Talent Animation Manager Shelley Page in Palermo every day. And yet, she came. StudioRain and GraffitiCreative announced a contest for all the creators that was made especially for this occasion:
Draw your fictional universe, and write 30 lines to describe how it is, what would happen there, who lives there.
The first idea that I had was about a Bazar. Maybe because Dreamworks had recently launched TrollHunter with Guglielmo Del Toro on Netflix, and one of the most important places was a Bazar. Maybe because I am from Palermo, a city that can count on several historical markets, and spent all of its Middle Ages under Arabic domination. Anyway, I did represent a Market. And in my 30 lines, I mentioned a poor king that has to find a way to let the market prosper without having his people scared.
I won the contest, and at the end of the event I got interviewed on Rai3Television, and I was mentioned on la Repubblica.
