90s Fast Food Date
A friend of mine commissioned me to draw an illustration of a "nineties fast food place background" but wanted it to look like a place for a romantic date.
I used the following images for reference and inspo:
This is how it looked with simple shadows and shapes. (I added grain to make it look more finished since I sent it to him as a preview haha)
My biggest challenge was definitely making the light reflected from the neon sign blend into the rest of the image. I found a free template for the heart shape from (https://omaharentalads.com/img/get). At this stage I added additional highlights and shading to add dimensions to the image.
At this stage of the process I added filters and a grain for my own personal preference but I sent both of the previous images to my friend so he could select which version he liked best.
