Left-and right-handed metal desk lamp

A very simple design made interesting by using the joints as nice accessories to the design. I decided instead of trying to hide the pop rivet to rather use them to add to the design. I was going for a clean and nicely cut desk lamp. The angle of the light gives the allusion that it is floating. This is a small desk lamp that does not take up a lot of space.
My metal desk lamp.
Side view of the metal desk lamp, you can see the angle of the lamp clearly in this photo.
I designed my lamp to fold perfectly and a line the pop rivet in the middle of the design. My desk lamp was cut and bend at Joxisat. The desk lamp is made from brushed steel. There is a tiny push switch on the lamp for easy access.  I used a 3 point plug to insert it directly into the wall. I also added rubber feet to my lamp to avoid scratching on the desk and to reduce the lamp from moving around.
An poster that I designed for my metal desk lamp. In this page you can see how the the lamp will be made step by step.
The lamp is designed to stand in front of your pages or work. This insured that not shadow will appear when writing. It is convenient for left and right handed people. The colour of the lamp is very neutral and fits any gender.
This photo was taken in a dark room to show that there are no shadows (for left and right handed people) near the persons hand when writing.
The user can use any push in globe, I do recommend them using an LED light.
